Hi there Mr. Clem! I really like your way of writing songs and performing them. I kinda write songs too and they really sounded just like your songs!!! I hope you would here them one day… You are one of my greatest influence in writing and I really hope we will get to meet each other. Thanks!!! God bless!
come to our gigs and send us a demo of your songs. we would love to hear them!
Hey Clem can I join your band? I can play the guitar, write songs and sing. My greatest influence is the only one Mr. John Lennon and next is you! Teehee… I hope to meet you soon! Call me 09094666520
ian has done some writing on pocket guide,i believe that was lizard hiding?what about law? will we ever hear some of his songwriting too? and do you still have plans of writing songs in the vernacular or are you going to stick with producing songs in english and other languages like spanish or french?
Law has yet to put words and music on the table but he is a mighty fine bassist who can easily adapt and put soul in any song we present him. We’re Filipinos so sooner or later we’re bound to release songs that will be closer to our hearts, those written in a dying Tagalog language. Especially now when it’s so hard to even find a bit of poetry in today’s commercial OPM.
Apart from your original repertoire, I also look forward to your renditions of other artists’ songs during gigs. Ever tried doing Terry Hall covers?
We used to play “Little Things” and planning on covering “Suburban Cemetery.”
Great! Thanks for the response.
won’t you do a song for christmas or something? i wish you have one..
maybe next year jeff. 🙂
Thanks. I really like your songs.

Did you gave your Telecaster to Paolo Peralta?
And what kind of Strat did you use on your performance @ The 5th JAM music
fest?
My telecaster is collecting dust at home. Paolo is just using a similar guitar. I used a 1969 Vintage Reissue US Stratocaster.
will we ever hear you play your electric guitar again? : )
From time to time. We already have an electric guitarist (Pao Peralta) as a new member. So the texture of our live performances are fuller and more interesting with the electro-acoustic mixture. The soonest you’ll see me strap an electric would probably be on Jan 13 for The Killers night.
hmmm ok…i haven’t heard you guys play, as a quartet(yet)… was sposed to go see the ONL night at route 196 on the 30th too bad it was moved…i guess it would be might interesting…paolo is quite something on the electric guitar… : ) speaking of the killers may i suggest Somebody Told Me? la lang… hihi…
hey guys, just wondering..have you no plans of really hitting it big sa mainstream? also, does it cross your minds to write poppier, but still awesome, songs?
You have to define what is mainstream and what is poppy. Which territory and which target market. And based on your definition i can make a logical reply. We don’t sit down on a song with a preliminary mindset of what approach will make us famous or which words and melody will sell more records. Not to mention the fact that however poppy or mainstream a song we create, there underlies the challenge of promotion. My record label (Lilystars Records) has no network nor funding as big as major labels. Do not forget we are independent thriving mostly on internet promotions and word of mouth. We make music that matters to us and we hope to connect with any listener our song reaches however far or wide across the globe. And we are quite happy with that… with any niche that embraces us.
“My role in society, or any artist’s or poet’s role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all.” – John Lennon

Can you do anything in your power to create a video for Solitary North Star? ASAP?
Yes of course, no power needed, just a little patience and gentle persuasion. I think two versions will come out. Anytime soon.
Ah, thank you. Along with Clinically Dead, that’s my fave song off your album.
I will await (goodness knows how long). (^_^)
when will be your next album out?
A brand new song/single will be released over the New Year and another song in a Lilystars Records compilation album. We are looking at middle of 2010 for a full length release once we get more funding.
is there a camerawalls tees at malls?
None. But we are working on our first. Soon available in gigs and thru mailorder.
really looking forward to those tees and/or merch.
