Ride & Rock Relief

Last Sunday, I had the pleasure of witnessing a very successful initial relief drive of DAKILA and Ride & Rock Relief for immediate support of families affected by the Habagat victims. They were able to send a total of 490 family packs of food and clothes and raised P45,000 in cash! The money will be spent on medicines and other necessities of affected families. The relief goods were delivered to the flood victims of the monsoon rains in Cainta, Angono and Marikina.
The Camerawalls were able to donate a meager amount amounting to P2,875.00 from the digital sales of our new single “Wanderlust”. Thanks to all our friends and music fans who value the song and the cause behind it. Although we were expecting to be able to donate more, we resigned to the fact that very few people nowadays care to buy original music. As of today, around 70 people from in and out of the country have bought the single in pledges ranging from $1 to $20. We hope, with our collective efforts, to be able to donate more in the next relief campaign and help our fellow Filipinos who are still in need of assistance.

75 percent of the digital sales of Wanderlust as of 12:08PM August 12, 2012 was donated to DAKILA and Ride & Rock Relief
